Aer Lingus App Reviews

Id downloaded and deleted this app before but yesterday booked several flights (on their appalling website) so thought Id try again. This app is useless in every respect - how do the developers justify their salaries?!? Wasters!

...if not worse, and thats saying something. A complete overhaul of the companys electronic interface with customers is sorely needed, as its a nice airline but gives a terrible initial impression from the app and website

This app could be great. But it isnt. l I just booked 3 flights from US to Ireland, opened the app to input flight info, all good so far. Heres the rub, you have to re enter your info each and every time!! You cant save it in the app like I can with KLM etc. I might as well copy and save the flight info into the notes app on my phone, at least there I wont have to fumble for codes and other info and remember 4 pieces of info to get my flight info. As an Irish person this is just embarrassing. Do the app properly or remove it from the iTunes Store.

Unable to load booking info. searching with reference code freezes the app.

An app should provide a better experience than the website. This app doesnt. Its a poor excuse for an app.

I just downloaded the app but how can I use it if they dont have Boston on the list and I have a flight from Boston...? Hopefully an airplane will be there tomorrow

Apparently you cant use this if your flight originates in the United States.

This useless App is for EU use only - even tho it’s on sale in the US App store :-/ I couldnt access View My Booking (error reads “Departure City does not match PNR”) and couldnt use Mobile Check-In. No Passbook support, so you end up screen-shooting your boarding pass from an email. Even basics like phone numbers in Contact Us are not functional (can’t tap to call - or even copy and paste)! A pretty pathetic effort.

Cant even find BOSTON or Dublin as departure/arrival! I actually flying from Bos! Junk

Take a lesson from other airlines and figure out a useful app. Until then take this one away. Waste of time and poor functionality.

Unable to check in because Boston is not an option in the list of departures. Also we have TSA pre clearance which doesn’t appear to be an option when flying with Aer Lingus.

Wow I typed up a whole page of notes and it would t send it. How much worse can this app be. I would be embarrassed if this was my airline. I hope the plane mechanics are better than the app mechanics. I am scared now. Please fix this app to do something! Anything for that matter. Worthless piece of ....

Not even with the effort to download. As others have expressed. It doesnt retain your flight info and must enter it every time. No Passbook support. Im concerned the flight will be on the same level as this app.

I am taking my first trip with this airline. If the experience on the flight is anything like this terrible excuse for an app then I will never be flying with Aer Lingus again. The app -DOES NOT SUPPORT THE NATIVE PASSPORT APP FOR IPHONE -DOES NOT WORK WITH CHECKING INTO YOUR FLIGHT -DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO BOOK THROUGH THE APP THIS APP IS AN EMBARRASSMENT. PLEASE REMOVE IT FROM THE APP STORE AND STOP TRYING. YOU HAVE FAILED.

Problems: no profile, no saved flights, no saved frequent flyer number, no saved data, no personalization. Why have an app do less than your website? I dont believe anyone in your marketing department was involved in this app production or they would have emphasized how important personalization is to your customers.

Berlin has two airports, the one in the airport selection list was not the one I was using on YOUR airline making me unable to check in.

Basically all airline apps are useless without Wallet (passbook) integration. And to think I wasted 15 seconds of my life downloading this!!! YOU OWE ME 15 SECONDS AER LINGUS ☘

App is useless. It full of bugs and I cannot even use the mobile checkin feature. Aer Lingus wake up!

This app has no value and so dont waste any time downloading it. None of your personal or flight details are stored and you have to input all the flight details manually. Useless.
